Sioux Nesi was a really unique and special story. Sioux came to us after a life altering catastrophy. Her previous photo studio was burned down along with all of her work. She decided to take some time off, collect her thoughts, spend some time with her new daughter, and come back after a few years strong and unified. Sioux was recommend to us by one of our other clients, Eva Gentry, and she was looking for something that was stylistically relevant and very fashion-minded. She was looking for a new identity as well as a website to appeal to agencies, art directors, publications, and online media. We selected Hoefler and Frere-Jones, Didot as the typeface that speaks Sioux Nesi, and integrated a web design that speaks negative space into Livebooks, a template based Content management system, developed for photographers to showcase their work. Our second reason for loving this project was how we were able to design a website under strict restrictions, and make it look specifically tailored and branded for Sioux Nesi. Our first thing about loving this project is, since the launch the website, Sioux Nesi is now completely booked up with work. Sioux Nesi |
